I should be saying “Happy Friday!!” but you know how life is, so instead how about “Happy Sunday!” I got back from California on Wednesday and the trip was so much fun! My little nephew is the cutest and babies are so teeny – I love it! And you know how it is getting back from vacation…chaos. Then when I was ready to get my fun finds, spammers decided to have a blast and now my main website (the book one) has been down and I had to pay a lot of money to get it cleaned up and fixed (which at the time of my typing this, is still in the process), so yay to that. Meaning my energy and time has been dealing with that. To which I say: BOO. Why can’t these people who do this put their talents to good use, say like saving the world?
Oh well though! While I wish I could be like my cat and just sleep away this Sunday, instead, lots of computer work and I’m eating cookies, because dealing with computer problems deserve cookies right? 🙂
Enough of my chatter, let’s dive into some fun finds!
1. Give Grace Necklace. While listening to The Jamie Ivey Podcast, the store Scarlet and Gold came up (I think it was the one with Jennie Allen, but don’t quote me on that). It sounded like cute stuff and I liked the mission. So naturally I started following all over the web and I LOVE their stuff! I’m sure you will see more of their items on Fun Finds, but I thought I’d start off with this one because I want it!! Here’s the description: The gold circle represents God’s unending love & grace, and the clear stone is a reminder to be more transparent about our struggles. How awesome is that? All the proceeds from this specific necklace go to their Give Grace campaign, which supports couples going through IVF and adoption.
2. Hammered Earrings from Baubles, Beads and Stuff. One of my fabulous book blogging friends, Rissi, and her mom have this lovely Etsy shop. They have such cute jewelry! I really love their stuff. I have a pair of earrings from them and they are my go to earrings since I went with a neutral as my first purchase and they work with all kinds of work outfits. If you’re looking for something fun for yourself or a gift, this is a great place to start!
3. Personalized Luggage Tag. Seeing as how my luggage tag died midway through my last trip and I had to use the not so cute Southwest paper tags, this is something I want before my next trip! Not only is it solid, it’s personalized and has an awesome quote. Or you can have them put all your contact info. If you know a frequent traveler, this is a fun and creative gift!
4. Not All Who Wander Necklace. I promise I didn’t mean for this to be mostly jewelry, but how perfect is this necklace? I’d wear it every day.
Enjoy your week everyone!!
